GoCrossCampus is an unprecedented massively multiplayer social gaming platform that brings the competitive ferocity of strategic conquest games to the RPI campus. Think of a traditional world-domination board game complete with armies and territories. Now change the map to one of the RPI campus--complete with the 15th Street footbridge, CII, and Student Union--and open the game up to all RPI students. Excited yet? The six teams are as follows:

• Blue: Barton and Bray Halls
• Red: BARH, RAHPs, Stackwyck, and Colonie Apartments
• Green: Cary and Crockett Halls
• Yellow: WNDS Complex (Warren, Nugent, Davison, and Sharp Halls)
• Purple: Quad Residences, North Hall, and E-Complex
• Orange: Nason and Hall Halls

Off-campus residents can play too! Off-campus mercenaries are allowed to join the team of their choosing.

Leadership within your team is up to you and your comrades. Are you up to the challenge of managing your team's new empire?

Prepare for the new threats and opportunities brought by each new day.

Develop a strategy with the rest of your team, attack enemy territories to expand your empire, and defend your strongholds against enemy invaders. Action is turn-based, with the game advancing once every calendar day, so you can log in and fortify defenses, move troops, place armies at key territories, and direct attacks throughout the day!

Keep your friends close, and your rivals closer.

Success in this massively multiplayer battle means that you and your teammates will need to be on your toes as you plot strategies of conquest and execute battle-winning tactics across the game map.

Game registration will open on Monday, October 15. The first turn begins on Thursday, October 18.
